Revitalising and developing Lac Vert Plage
Revitalising and developing the tourist offer at Lac Vert Plage
The communauté de communes has carried out a an overall project to modernise and develop the Lac Vert site.
It has 6 chalets to replace old chalets that are over 25 years old and no longer compatible with the demand for accommodation, including 1 chalet adapted for people with reduced mobility.
As Lac Vert is also a meeting place for tourists and residents with a strong social mix, the local authority has equipped the campsite with 2 play areas integrating and blending into the setting of Lac Vert.
On another front, a project to create a greenway cycle route is currently being drawn up, with the route passing right by the campsite. In view of the significant demand from visiting cyclists to be able to stay at the campsite for one night, the local authority has provided itself with 4 PODThis is the ideal place for cyclists looking for a single night's accommodation, enabling them to expand their offer in the area. The only one of its kind in the area. With a view to developing and promoting soft mobility, a reception area for cyclists has been set up, with covered picnic tables so that people can sit down for a picnic and take shelter in case of rain.
This project was made possible thanks to the support of theEuropean Union through the European Agricultural Fund for rural development.
The project cost €333,832.45 and was financed to the tune of €70% by the EAFRD.
